PWE3 Configuration 

 

To  reduce  transmission  cost,  reduce  the  maintenance  cost  and  improve 

the  service  expansibility,  Pseudo  Wire  Edge  to  Edge  Emulation  (PWE3) 

appears.  PWE3  is  a  mechanism  of  emulate  telecom  services  on  the 

packet switching network (PSN). The PSN can be Ethernet network, MPLS 

or IP network. The telecom services can be low-speed TDM, SDH/SONET, 

ATM or frame relay.
