 Caution 

When the port configured with the L2 protocol tunnel function receives the L2 protocol tunnel 

packet, the port is shut down temporarily. 

 

Application Examples 

PE1 and PE2 are the operator’s network devices. Customer A and Customer B are the 

user’s network devices. 

 

Networking requirements: To transmit the stp packets between Customer A and Customer 

B through the tunnel, you need to set up the L2 protocol tunnel for stp packets between 

PE1 and PE2.
