History Command
Command-line Interface provides a function similar to Doskey. The system automatically saves
the commands input by users into the history command buffer.
Users can transfer the history commands saved by the Command-line interface at any time
and execute them repeatedly to reduce the unnecessary repetition works.
Command Line Interface saves at most 10 commands for every connected user; then the most
recent commands take priority over the oldest command:

When the cursor key is used to access history commands and telnet runs in Windows98/NT
system to log into the router, the option “terminal->premier option->simulation option”
should be configured as type VT-100/ANSI.
Only display the history commands of the present mode. For example, in the privileged user
mode, only display the history commands of the privileged mode.
Editing Features
Command-line interface provides basic command-editing functions supporting multi-line
editing with a maximum of 256 characters for each command line. The following table 1-5 lists
basic editing functions provided by the subsystem shell.
