Switch A connects to the user network; the uplink port connects to the DHCP relay device and

then connects to the DHCP server. Of course, it also can connect directly to the DHCP server.

Enabling the DHCP Snooping function on switch A, and the status of the port connects to the

user network needs to be configured as untrust, and the port connects to the DHCP Server

needs to be configured as trust status.

In the global configuration mode:

To configure the fill mode of Option 82 message as the
user configuration mode

To configure the remote ID as hostname

To exit the global configuration mode
