 Point  to  multi-point  EVC:  It  is  a  special  EVC.  One  end  is  called 

root and  the other  end  is  called leaf.  The  EVC  is  constructed  by 

one or more roots (in general, it is one)+one or more leafs. The 

main feather is that the frames from root node to leaf node need 

to be copied to all leafs, while the frames from leaf node to root 

mode only need to be sent to root node. The frames do not need 

to be copied between leaf nodes. It is applied in IPTV. Signamax 

RL08  devices  do  not  directly  support  this  kind  of  EVC,  but  can 

indirectly  support  it  via  configuring  port  isolation  and  L3 

forwarding features between UNIs.
