Configure EAPS sub Rings

 

 

EAPS Crossing Ring 

 
The  above  network  topology  comprises  the  master  node  of  the  master 
ring,  the  transmission  node,  the  master  node  of  the  sub  ring,  the 
transmission node of the sub ring, the edge node of the sub ring and the 
assistant edge node. 
 
1 Configure the master node of he master ring 
The  configurations  of  the  master  node  and  transmission  node  on  the 
master  ring  are  the  same  as  those  of  12.1.3.1.  You just  need  to  create 
the sub ring vlan and add the ports of the master control node to the sub 
ring VLAN. 
 
2 Configure the common transmission nodes of the master ring 
The common transmission nodes refer to the transmission nodes that are 
not connected to the sub ring. You need to create the sub ring VLAN for 
the common transmission nodes, and add the mater ports and secondary 
ports on the transmission node to the sub ring VLAN. 
 
3 Configure the edge node 
Configure the access node of the master ring (transmit 2): 
transmit 2 is also the access node of the sub ring and the edge node on 
the device.
