Configuration  Example  of  Controlling 

ACL Packet Flow 

 

Application example of ACL packet flow control 
 
When  ACL  is  used  for  controlling  packet  flow,  ACL  rule  needs  to  be 
configured  first,  and  bind  action  group  to  the  permit  rule  in  the  ACL. 
Configure the meter for limiting the speed of the packets in the action 
group.  
 
 For  example,  the  packets  entering  from  port  0/1  to  the  switch  are 
classified according to the IP address segment. The packet with source 
IP  address  as  10.0.0.*  is  the  first  type  and  the  speed  is  limited  as 
5Mbps;  the  packet  with  source  IP  address  as  10.0.0.1*is  the  second 
type  and  the  speed  is  limited  as  1Mbps;  the  packet  with  other  source 
IP addresses is the third type and the speed is limited as 50Mbps. The 
configuration steps are as follows:
