This  command  is  used  to  enable  the  E-LMI  protocol  globally.  Enable  E-
LMI  protocol  at  all  valid  ports  of  current  equipments.  The  no  format  of 
the command is used to disable the E-LMI protocol globally.

The  command  is  used  to  enable  the  E-LMI  protocol  and  make  it  run  in 
the  CE  mode.  After  executing  the  command,  the  E-LMI  protocol  on  all 
ports  runs  in  the  CE  mode.  After  executing  the  no  format  of  the 
command,  the  E-LMI  protocol  exists  the  CE  mode  and  runs  in  the  PE 
mode.

This command is used to configure the parameters when running the E-
LMI protocol on the port in the port configuration mode. 
 

 Syntax 

Description 

n391 

<1-65000>

 

To  configure  the  times  of  the  E-LMI  protocol  polling  the 
counter  actively.  After  N391  polling,  the  CE  end  initiates  the 
Full Status request. The default value is 360. 

n393 

<2-10>

 

To  configure  the  times  of  the  counter  counting  the  E-LMI 
status. After connecting the device fails  for N393 times when 
running  the  E-LMI  protocol, the  E-LMI  status  changes to  Not 
Operational. Or in the Not Operational state, no error appears 
for  N393  times,  the  E-LMI  protocol  status  recovers  to  the 
Operational state. The default value is 4.

To  configure  the  interval  of  the  E-LMI  protocol  polling  the 
timer actively in the CE mode. The default value is 10s. 

t392 

<5-30>

 

To configure the interval of E-LMI protocol waiting the request 
message at the CE  end to be confirmed. The timeout means 
that there is error. The default value is 15s.
