as the metric of the summary route. The route tag of the summary route is always 0.

In RIP, there are two kinds of route summary, including route auto-summary and the

configured address summary on the interface.

For RIP v1, only the route auto-summary is valid.

For RIP v2, when route auto-summary and address summary on the interface exist at the

same time, perform route auto-summary at first. When the route auto-summary (supernet)

cannot be performed, perform the address summary on the interface.

The no format of the command is used to cancel the address summary of RIP v2 on the

interface.
