When  the  binding  relationship  between  the  source  IP  address  and  source  MAC  address  in  a 

ARP packet matches the items in the DHCP Snooping table or the items in the IP static binding 

table, and the ingress port of the ARP packet and the VLAN to which the ingress port belongs 

to match with the items in the DHCP Snooping table or the items in the IP static binding table 

configured  manually  in  the  IP  Source  Guard,  then  the  packet  is  a  legal  ARP  packet  to  be 

transmitted.

When the binding relationship of the source IP address and the source MAC address in 

a ARP packet doesn’t match the items in the DHCP Snooping table or the items in the 

IP  static binding table configured manually, or  the ingress port of the  ARP packet and 

the  VLAN  to  which  the  ingress  port  belongs  to  are  not  consistent  with  the  items  in 

DHCP Snooping table or the items in the IP static binding table configured manually in 

the  IP  Source  Guard,  then  the  packet  is  a  illegal  ARP  packet  to  be  discarded  directly, 

and the log information is printed.
