 Note 

The symbol “*” before the command description means that there is the 

configuration example to describe the command in details. 

 

loopback-detection  

This  command  is  used  to  enable  the  loopback  detection  function.  To 

disable  the  loopback  detection  function,  use  the  no  format  of  the 

command.

Syntax 

Description 

loopback-detection  interval-time

It  is  the  interval  of  sending  the  loopback 
detection packets; the value range is 5-300s. 

loopback-detection interval-time 

 

Do  not  specify  the  interval  of  sending  the 
loopback  detection  packets;  the  default  value  is 
30s.

Make the loopdown port with loopback detection 
function up fast. 

no loopback-detection interval-time

  Disable  the  loopback  detection  function  of  the 

port.  If  the  port  is  in  the  loopdown  status,  the 
port  continues  sending  loopback  detection 
packets until the loop is removed.

Disable  the  loopback  detection  function  of  the 
port. No matter which  status  the current port is 
in,  stop  sending  the  loopback  detection  packets
