This  command  is  used  to  configure  the  private members of the  TACACS 
server group. The no form of the command is used to delete the private 
members.

Syntax 

Description 

ip-address 

The address of Tacacs server. It does not need to be the 
address  configured  by  the  command 

tacacs-server

.  It 

can  be  configured  independently  and  is  not  related  with 
tacacs-server. 

key 

The  key  used  by  the  communication  between  the  switch 
and the Tacacs server. 

port 

The  TCP  port  number  used  when  connecting  the  Tacacs 
background program 

timeout 

To  configure  the  timeout  for  waiting  the  response  from 
the Tacacs server
