authentication request.

Global configuration mode 

 Note 

The  key  configured  on  the  router  should  be  consistent  with  that  on  the 
RADIUS server. 
Multiple  RADIUS  servers  can  be  configured,  and  the  system  can  select 
one  of  them  for  system  authentication  according  to  the  configuration 
sequence;  when  some  server  is  unavailable,  the  system  can  select  the 
next one automatically till the last one fails. 

 

radius-server dead-time 

This  command  is  used  to  configure  dead-time.  The  no  form  of  this 
command is used to set dead-time as 0.

Description 

dead-time 

This  is  the  time  length.  During  the  time,  no 
event request is sent to the RADIUS server.

The default value is 0.

Command mode

】

Global configuration mode 

After  the  command  is  used,  the  system  labels  the  RADIUS  severs  that 
don’t  respond  to  the  authentication  requests  as  unusable,  and  does  not 
send requests to these servers during the dead-time period of time. 

 

radius-server key 

This  command  is  used  to  configure  the  RADIUS  encryption  key.  The  no 
form of this command is used to delete the RADIUS encryption key.
