The no format of the command is used to recover sending packets as per the RIP global

Syntax

Description

To configure RIP to send RIP v1 packets on the interface

To configure RIP to send RIP v2 packets on the interface

1-compatible

To configure RIP to send RIP v2 packets in broadcast mode on the interface

Send packets as per RIP global version.

ip rip send-packet

This command is used to configure enabling sending RIP packets on the interface. The no

format of the command is used to disable sending RIP packets on the interface.

Enable sending RIP packets on the interface.

ip rip standby

This command is used to configure the standby interface of the RIP interface to speed up the

convergence of the standby route.

After the active interface is down, the standby interface sends route request packet to the

peer end for requesting all routes regularly (per second)

After the standby interface receives the route update packet from the peer end, cancel the

regular sending of route request packets and notify all local routes to the peer end via route

update packets.

If the route update packet is not received from the peer end after the configured timeout time,

cancel the regular sending of the route request packet.

The no format of the command is used to cancel the standby interface of the RIP interface.
