a. Exist in the format of the configuration command;

b. In order to save the memory space of flash device, only the commands in the

configuration mode (include the global configuration mode, the interface

configuration mode, the file system configuration mode, the access list configuration

mode and the route protocol configuration mode) are saved.;

c. The organization of commands takes the command mode as the standard. All

commands in the same mode are organized together to form a paragraph;

d. Paragraphs are arranged in a certain order: the global configuration mode, the

interface configuration mode and the route configuration mode;

e. Sort commands according to the relationships among them. All related commands

are grouped together and a blank line is used to separate groups.

The example of Signamax switch configuration file is as follows: (the detailed meaning

of the information is introduced in the following chapters)
