Switching Interface Configuration

Configure Switching Interface

Overview

The switching interface is a logical interface used to bind with VLAN and transmit packets

among different VLANs. One VLAN can be bound to only one switching interface. One

switching interface can only bind one VLAN.

Basic Commands

The symbol “*” before the command description means that there is the configuration

example to explain the command.

Configuration mode means the mode for executing the configuration command such as

config, config-if-xx (interface name) and config-xx (protocol name).

The command configures a switching interface. The

syntax of the command can be used to

delete a switching interface.
