Figure 0-3 MVR configuration examples

Port 0/1 of Switch A is connected with the router; port 0/2 is connected with host A, port 0/3

is connected with host B. port 0/2 in tagged mode is added to VLAN3 and PVID is 3; port 0/3

in untagged mode is added to VLAN4 and PVID is 4. Port 0/1 on the switch is added to VLAN2

in tagged mode; port 0/2 and 0/3 are added to VLAN2 in untagged mode; set VLAN 2 as the

multicast VLAN. Enable MVR and enable IGMP Snooping globally. The multicast packets from

the multicast source can be received by host A and host B.
