monitored. Other services are monitored.

The command enables and disables the host-level monitoring.

Syntax

Description

enable

To enable host-level monitoring

To monitor via source IP

mac

To monitor via source MAC

disable

To disable host-level monitoring

[Default status] disable

The port-level monitoring needs to be enabled before enable the host-level monitoring.

monitor host limit number

The command configures the maximum number of monitored hosts. If the limit is

exceeded, the monitored packets of other hosts are discarded. The

format of the

command can be used to delete the configuration.

Syntax

Description

1-9999

The maximum number of monitored hosts

[Default status] no limit

The configuration only takes effect when the host-level monitoring is enabled.

monitor host limit

The command is to configure maximum number of various classified packets to be

processed by CPU. When packets of a class to be processed by CPU in a sampling period

exceed the configured value, the host to which those packets belong is added into the

black list; in the next period, the host is only permitted to configure the number of the

packets that need to be processed the CPU to be half of the configured value. The

format of the command can be used to delete the configuration.
