Description

delay-interval

To configure the minimum interval of sending the packets in one RIP
update; the unit is ms and the value range is 8-50ms.

delay-interval: 0 ms

passive-interface

This command is used to configure the suppression interface of RIP sending packets. The

interface only receives the route update packets and do not send route update packets.

passive-interface

does not suppress sending unicast route update to the neighbor. The

command is used with the

neighbor

command and can control the switch to send the route

update in unicast form only to some neighbors, but not broadcast (RIPv2 is the multicast) the

route update to all neighboring switches on the interface.

The no format of the command is used to cancel the suppression interface of RIP sending

packets.

This command is used to configure the buffer size of the RIP received packets. The

command is to solve the packet loss problem when the high-speed interface sends the

RIP protocol packets to the low-speed interface. The no format of the command is used to

recover the default value of the buffer size of the RIP received packets.
