CMAS Message

Specifies whether the message is used for the measurement of Commercial Mobile
Alerting System (CMAS) solution with focus on battery life time. This feature allows you
to monitor the power consumption of the MS in idle mode with and without cell broad-
cast impact on the mobile device.

Note that the current version supports only CMAS messages (no general broadcast
messages supported).

Option R&S CMW-KS170 is required for the CMAS feature.

Remote command:

Priority

Sets the priority of the broadcast SMS as defined in 3GPP2 C.S0015. Note that the MS
processes the broadcast message only if the priority of the message is equal to or
higher than the receive priority level configured in the MS.

Priority indicator values are mapped as follows:
