Fig. 3-12: 1xEV-DO multi evaluation: CDP and CDE for subtype 0/1 - diagram view
The number of displayed codes (spreading factor SF) depends on the physical layer
protocol subtype. For Subtype 0/1 SF equals 16, for Subtypes 2 and 3 SF equals 32.
Channels with a spreading factor smaller than the displayed SF occupy bars at several
codes.
For Subtype 0/1 the Reverse Rate Indicator (RRI) channel and the Pilot channel are
transmitted time-multiplexed on Walsh channel W
0
16
(see
). For that
reason the diagrams display two bars per code. The left bar is measured while the RRI
channel is present, the right bar while the Pilot channel is present.
The figure above shows the following channels:
●
Reverse Rate Indicator Channel, W

(I-Signal, code 0)
●
Pilot Channel, W

(I-Signal, code 0)
●

(Q-Signal, codes 2, 6, 10, 14)
●
Data Rate Control channel, W

(Q-Signal, code 8)
For Subtypes 2 and 3 the RRI channel and the Pilot are transmitted on different Walsh
channels and only one bar is displayed per code.
Bars for active code channels are colored. Bars for inactive code channels are gray.
The "Table View" provides scalar results of I- and Q- signals and statistical information.
The code channels can be sorted in two ways, as hadamard matrix or according to the
OVSF code tree (see
The description of statistical measurement results is covered in
