Multi Carrier Limit Evaluation
For multi-carrier measurements (Physical Layer Subtype 3) , limits can either be
applied to the individual carriers or over all carriers. Select the appropriate strategy.
Remote command:
Max PER
Maximum packet error rate allowed. An error (limit failure) is indicated if the "Max PER"
is exceeded after the statistics cycle is completed (see
on page 111). In a confidence test, the AT may pass the limit check before the statis-
tics cycle is completed.
Different thresholds can be configured for FL and RL. Setting the value to 100% disa-
bles the limit check including the confidence test.

Minimum required statistical probability for the PER to be below the "Max PER".

PER View (Tab)
Depending on the selected "Test Application", the "PER" view displays the results of
the forward or reverse link PER measurement (for the selected carrier in multi-carrier
measurements). Below the result table, progress information is shown. The "Status"
panel gives a description of possible incompatibilities, e.g. in case that no connection is
established when the PER measurement is started.
