Description
Unrecognized parameter value
A known parameter has a unknown or unsupported value.
Unexpected parameter value
A known parameter has a known, but unexpected value.
User data size error
The User Data size is too large for access technology, trans-
port network, or call mode, etc. The User Data size is not what
is expected for the indicated teleservice.

Receive Method
A message can be received while the R&S
CMW is in "Registered" or in "Connected"
state. Receiving SMS happen without any interaction of the user. The received mes-
sage files are stored on the R&S
CMW SMS directory.
The R&S
CMW supports three different options to receive SMS messages
●
Traffic Channel (TCH)
When a call is already connected the SMS message will be transported on the
open Traffic Channel.
●
Access Channel (ACC)
When an MS is in registered state, it is possible to transport SMS using the Access
Channel, without connecting a call.
●
Service Option 6 or 14
When an MS is in registered state, the MS tries to connect a call using service
option 6 or 14. Which service option is used is decided by the MS. After the
R&S
CMW received the SMS the call is disconnected.
This leads to a temporary "Connection" state of the R&S
CMW during the reception
of the SMS.
Information about the received SMS and how the SMS was transmitted is displayed for
the last message at "MS Info > Messaging (SMS) Info > Last Received Message" or
