Fig. 2-7: Display of forward link performance results (subtype 3)
Physical Packet Size
Size of the physical layer packets containing the FTAP/FETAP/FMCTAP test packets
(no. of bits). For numeric values the corresponding row displays the throughput for this
physical packet size on the pre-selected carrier; the "Total" row displays the sum of the
throughputs for all physical packet sizes on the pre-selected carrier; the "Composite"
row displays the sum of the throughputs for all physical packet sizes and all available
carriers.
For physical layer subtype 0/1, a fixed physical packet size of 1024 bits is used. Physi-
cal layer subtypes 2 and 3 allow packet sizes between 128 and 8192 bits.
The R&S
CMW currently does not support 16- and 64-QAM modulations. Hence
"large" physical packet sizes > 5120 bits won't show up here.
MAC Packets Received
Number of correctly received MAC layer packets in the physical layer packets contain-
ing the FTAP/FETAP/FMCTAP test packets. A physical layer packet contains 1, 2, 3,
or 4 MAC layer packets.
Physical Packet Slots
Number of slots over which the physical packets containing the FTAP/FETAP/
FMCTAP test packets were received.
