Additional transitions and handoff

The transitions in the figure above are not complete. The "Off" state can be reached
from any state by turning off the forward 1xEV-DO signal (ON | OFF). Moreover, inci-
dents like an inactive session timeout or a loss of the radio link cause additional transi-
tions.
A 1xEV-DO dual-band handoff can be performed in the "Connected" state; see

ter 2.2.7, "Handoff"

2.2.7 Handoff

A handoff is the process of transferring an ongoing call or data connection from one
network to another. The R&S

CMW supports dual-band handoff between different

1xEV-DO band classes. The "Handoff" hotkey appears in the hotkey bar as soon as
the R&S

CMW enters the "Connected" state; see section

chapter 2.2.6, "Connection
