5.2.15.6 Z-Stack Settings for Airyscan
In case a 3-dimensional acquisition is required, a
Z-Stack (Fig. 200) can be defined the same way as
when using the internal channels.
However, in order to realize the resolution increase
of the
SR
mode in Z, a doubled sampling with
smaller Z intervals is required.
This is done automatically when the
SR
mode is
active.
Optimize Sectioning and Step, Optimal
In case the interval is defined manually, the
optimizing sectioning and step dialogue shows the
correct sectioning for the Z direction, and the
required oversampling for the active
Airyscan
mode can be set by using the Optimal button
(Fig. 201).
