If
Trigger
is selected the
Trigger In
drop down menu becomes available
(Fig. 226) from which up to 4 triggers
can be selected. After pressing
Start
Experiment button the system will
display the message
Waiting for
Trigger and starts acquisition once it
received the trigger in signal.
If
Time
is selected the
hh
,
min
and
sec input boxes become available
(Fig. 227), in which the hours, minutes
and seconds can be edited. After
pressing
Start Experiment button the
system will display the message
Waiting for Start Time and starts
acquisition after the defined computer
time has been elapsed.
If the
Pre-Scan
checkbox is ticked
(Fig. 228) a continuous scan is
performed when clicking
Start
Experiment button, but no image
series is acquired until you hit the
Go
button, which becomes visible next to
the
Pause button in the lower part of
the control window. Once the
Go
button was pressed it will disappear.
When Pressing the
Pause
button,
which becomes active after Start
Experiment
was pressed, the time
series is interrupted and the current
scan is finished. The labeling of the
button changes to
Resume
(Fig. 229)
and if the Resume button is pressed
the time series is immediately
continued.
It is possible to send a
Trigger Out
signal with the start of the times series.
The
Trigger Out
drop down menu
allows defining up to 4 trigger out
signals.
