5.4.14.1 PALM – Convert to Image
The Convert to Image function allows converting
the vector map of centroids to be transformed to a
bona fide image.
Select the
Convert to Image tab to select the
Convert to Image
processing tool (Fig. 432).
Highlight the PALM image in the image container
you want to convert and press
Select (Fig. 433).
Press
Apply
to convert the HR channel to a true
image.
The new file has the extension "name_PALM-
ConverttoImage" as a default.
It contains the
HR channel and SWF channel as
grey value pixel images for 2D PALM. For 3D PALM
it will contain the Z-Stack HR image file; no SWF
image is available for 3D PALM.
