ATTENDANT SPEED CALLING-SYSTEM SET UP (CONT’D)
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. SPEED CALLING codes programmed into system data are accessible by all stations with a CLASS
OF SERVICE-INDIVIDUAL permitting SPEED CALLING.
2. Each abbreviated call code can store a maximum of 26 digits. Trunk access codes (maximum 4 digits)
are not included in the 26 digits.
3. The standard number of SPEED CALLING-SYSTEM numbers stored in the system is as follows:
a. 100 numbers............. per tenant
b. 300 numbers............. per system
4. SPEED CALLING-SYSTEM numbers are programmed via system data entry from the MAINTE-
NANCE ADMINISTRATION TERMINAL (MAT) or CUSTOMER ADMINISTRATION TERMI-
NAL (CAT).
5. Stations may be denied access to SPEED CALLING via CLASS OF SERVICE assignments in system
data. SPEED CALLING may also be allowed or denied on either a system or tenant-wide basis.
6. TOLL DENIAL/TOLL DIVERSION and TOLL RESTRICTION - (3/6 DIGIT) may or may not be
applied to SPEED CALLING, as desired.
7. LEAST COST ROUTING-(3/6 DIGIT) may be provided via SPEED CALLING access.
8. RSC classes 6, 7, 8 cannot use this service feature for making outgoing calls.
9. The following pauses can be inserted into the calling number:
a. Normal pause = 1.5 sec.
b. Long pause = 1.5~12 sec. (programmable)
10. When STATION MESSAGE DETAIL RECORDING (SMDR) is provided, the actual dialed number is
recorded.
11. SPEED CALLING-SYSTEM can not be used on TRUNK LINE APPEARANCE.
