PERIODIC TIME INDICATION TONE
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
This service feature provides a tone every 180 seconds, if required, to the station user who has made an
outgoing call.

All stations
OPERATING PROCEDURE
No manual operation is required.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. This feature is programmed on a per trunk group basis via the MAINTENANCE ADMINISTRATION
TERMINAL (MAT) or CUSTOMER ADMINISTRATION TERMINAL (CAT).
2. The PERIODIC TIME INDICATION TONE is 80 ms in duration and is sent every 180 seconds. See
VARIABLE TIMING PARAMETERS for other programming time periods.
3. This feature is only available for station users that have placed outgoing calls to a C.O. Line or to a Tie
Line.
4. Incoming calls or outgoing calls initiated by the Attendant will not have this feature.
