Totaled Bill and the accumulated call charge for individual station.
Audit Print and Interim Print
Since the AP can accumulate the billing data, you can print the stored data in any time. The “In-
terim Print” operation allows the system to print the billing data without clearing the data stored
in the AP. When the “Interim Print” is executed by a D
term
TIMS Terminal, press the SET key at
the end of the print operation (PRT + ....+ SET).
On the other hand, the “Audit Print” operation (press the RESET key instead) prints the data and
clears the billing data from AP memories. The condition code “C” will appear when it is an “Audit
Print”. See Example 1/2.
The “Audit Print” is available by the D
term
TIMS Terminal operation and/or by the weekly or month-
ly “Automatic Print out”.
When you design the TIMS, you need special care about clearing the AP memories. Otherwise,
the memory overflow or the unexpected data loss may occur.
(1) Station Audit print
Figure below shows an example. When the station 300 and 301 are provided both the “Call
Record” and “Totaled Bill” accumulation, the billing data are preserved until the “Audit Print”
has executed irrespective of the “Interim Print” operation.
If it is a hotel, the “Audit Print” may be executed by the D
term
TIMS Terminal Check-out
operation. The “Interim Print” operation is available in any time during a guest stays.
