GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The D
term
can be programmed to function as an Operator Console. This Operator Console has limited
access to Operator Console-related features and functions and can be substituted where an Operator Con-
sole is required but an Attendant Console is not necessary. When a DSS CONSOLE is associated with this
Attendant Terminal, enhanced operation is available. Please refer to the Features and Specifications of
DIRECT STATION SELECTION (DSS) CONSOLE for detailed information.

OPERATING PROCEDURE
To answer and transferring an incoming C.O. Line call:
1. Press the flashing line key or
Answer
key.
2. The first available
LOOP
key LED lights steady green; incoming indication stops; LCD shows
trunk name and number.
3. Press
Transfer
key and dial station number to be transferred to, or press desired
DSS
key. LCD
shows called station number.
4. Press
RLS
key or go on-hook.
To hold a call:
1. Press
Hold
key.
LOOP
key flashes green.
2. Go on-hook or press
RLS
key.
To retrieve a held call:
1. Go off-hook.
2. Press flashing
LOOP
key. LED indication goes to steady green.
3. Speak.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. Transferring calls is possible with the
Transfer
key.
2. Answering calls is possible using the
Answer
key or by direct line key selection.
3. Normal internal call operation is available using the station’s primary extension, a secondary extension,
or a software line appearance.
4. A DSS CONSOLE can be associated with the Attendant Terminal, and its keys can be assigned as
Direct Station Selection
DSS
keys and used in conjunction with the
RLS
key.
5. An
RLS
key can be assigned on the DSS CONSOLE’s line keys.
