DAY/NIGHT MODE CHANGE BY STATION DIALLING
GENERAL DESCRIPTION
Selected stations can activate changeover from day to night service by dialling a specified digit code or
depressing the function key on a D
term
.
All subsequent calls will be re-directed to the designated night station or TAS bell(s).

OPERATING PROCEDURE
By dial access code:
1. Go off-hook and receive Dial Tone.
2. Dial feature access code followed by:
•
1 for DAY mode
•
2 for NIGHT mode
•
3 for MODE-A mode
•
4 for MODE-B mode
3. Receive Service Set Tone.
4. Restore the handset.
By function key on D
term
:
1. Go off-hook or depress
Speaker
key and receive Dial Tone.
2. Depress the assigned feature key.
3. Receive Service Set Tone.
4. Restore the handset or depress
Speaker
key.
SERVICE CONDITIONS
1. This feature is assigned in the station’s CLASS OF SERVICE.
2. This feature is only available for the tenant without a master Attendant Console.
3. On a system basis, incoming trunk destination and trunk restriction class can be changed (depending
upon programming) when the tenant or system is placed in NIGHT service.
4. Conditions by dial access code:
a. This feature is effective only for the tenant which the setting station belongs to. The station cannot
change DAY/NIGHT mode for the other tenants.
b. When dialling the code for the same mode as present (DAY
→
DAY, NIGHT
→
NIGHT), the station
receives Reorder Tone.
c. In case of power failure or the system is initialized in NIGHT mode, the mode will change to DAY
mode.
d. The number of stations for this feature in each tenant is limited to one.
