Displaying Local Unit Parameters (CLI)
To display the local unit's unit parameters, as transmitted by the LLDP agents,
enter the following command in root view:
root> ethernet lldp local-system-scalars-show
The following information is displayed:
•
local Chassis Id Subtype
- The type of encoding used to identify the local unit.
In this release, this parameter is always set to 4 (MAC Address).
•
local Chassis Id
- The MAC Address of the local unit.

local System Name
- The system name included in TLVs transmitted by the
LLDP agent. To define the system name, see

local System Description
- The system description included in TLVs
transmitted by the LLDP agent.

local System Cap Supported
- A bitmap value used to identify which system
capabilities are supported on the local system, as included in TLVs transmitted
by the LLDP agent. The bitmap is defined by the following parameters:
