Setting the Unit to the Factory Default Configuration
You can restore the unit to its factory default configuration, while retaining the
unit’s IP address setti
ngs and logs.
To restore the factory default settings:
1 Select
Platform > Shelf Management > Chassis Configuration
. The Chassis
Configuration page opens.

2 Click
Set to Factory Default
. The unit is restored to its factory default settings.
This does not change the unit's IP address or FIPS configuration.

Performing a Hard (Cold) Reset
To initiate a hard (cold) reset on the unit:
1 Select
Platform > Shelf Management > Chassis Configuration
. The Chassis
Configuration page opens (
).
2 Click
Reset
.
3 A prompt appears asking if you want to proceed with the reset. Click
Yes
to
initiate the reset.
The unit is reset.
