Use the
remote ont <aid> check-version
command to upgrade the ONT to the latest firmware via
the OLT.
We can also use the
remote ont <aid> check-version
command to upgrade all the ONTs
connected to the same PON port to the latest firmware after the planned version of all ONTs is
configured.
See Table 353 on page 669 for more information about this command.

Use the
mgmt-ont-img
command to enter the sub-command mode. Enter the
disp queue
command
to check the waiting queue’s status for firmware upgrades.

Enter the
disp upgrade-status <aid>
command to check the firmware upgrade result.

If you skip step 7 , you can also use the
remote ont <aid>
command to enter the sub-command
mode. Next, enter the
onu-reboot <cr>|<1>|<2>
command to reboot the ONT, and select the
firmware that was updated when the ONT was downloading firmware via the OLT.
Note that the standby firmware of the ONT will be updated when the ONT is downloading firmware
via the OLT.
