Multicast Over
Threshold
This field displays the maximum number of unknown multicast packets can be received on the
remote ONT.
When the limit of unknown multicast packets is reached, the remote ONT will drop the multicast
broadcast packets.
You can configure the rate in the
Storm Threshold
field of the
Advanced Application
>
ONT
Template
screen.
Unknown
Unicast Over
Threshold
This field displays the maximum number of unknown unicast packets can be received on the
remote ONT.
When the limit of unknown unicast packets is reached, the remote ONT will drop the unicast
broadcast packets.
You can configure the rate in the
Storm Threshold
field of the
Advanced Application
>
ONT

screen.
DDoS ARP
Flood
ARP flood is a kind of Denial of Service (DoS) attack that floods ARP packets to a network. This
result in incorrect mappings of IP and MAC addresses. Therefore, traffic will be sent to another
device.
This field displays the ARP packets that are flooded to the remote ONT.
DDoS TCP
Flood
TCP SYN flood, also called SYN flood, is a kind of Denial of Service (DoS) attack.
An SYN attack floods a targeted system with a series of SYN packets. Each packet causes the
targeteds ystem to issue a SYN-ACK response, while the targeted system waits for the ACK that
follows the SYN-ACK; it queues up all outstanding SYN-ACK responses on what is known as a
backlog queue. SYN-ACKs are moved off the queue only when an ACK comes back or when an
internal timer (which isset a relatively long intervals) terminates the TCP three-way handshake.
Once the queue is full, the system will ignore all incoming SYN requests, making the system
unavailable for legitimate users.
This field displays the SYN packets that are flooded to the remote ONT.
DDoS UDP
Flood
UDP flood is a kind of Denial of Service (DoS) attack that floods UDP packets to random ports of a
device.
This field displays the UDP packets that are flooded to the remote ONT.
Loopguard
Enable
This field displays if the loop guard feature is enabled on the ONT or not.
You can enable or disable the loop guard feature for a template in the
Loopguard
field of the
Advanced Application
>
ONT Template
screen.
Loopguard
This field displays if the ONT is in a loop state or not.
