Use the
remote uniport <aid>
command to configure settings on a card type and an ONT’s Ethernet
interface.
<aid>: uniport-<slot>-<pon>-<ont>-<card>-<port>

Configure a VLAN (10 in this example) with the PON port (slot 6, PON port 1 in this example) and uplink
port (port 1) as fixed members. Use “ge” for a PON or Gigabit Ethernet port. Use “msc-1-
<port>
” for an
uplink port (use “msc-1-” no matter which slot the active MSC is in). This example uses port 1.
Note: The OLT will always configure the ONT to send out US packets with VLAN tag. The PON
port must always be configured as egress tagged.
