IGMP Action
Use these settings to configure multicast group membership discovery.
Active
Select
None
to disable IGMP Snooping and not have the OLT act as an IGMP proxy. If
None
is
selected, the OLT won’t update the multicast forwarding table with the newly received IGMP
report(s).
Select
Snooping
to enable IGMP Snooping to forward group multicast traffic only to ports that
are members of that group.
Select
Proxy
to allow the OLT to act as an IGMP proxy for its hosts and forward their IGMP
reports to the connected multicast router.
Enable MLD
Enables Multicast Listener Discovery version one (MLD v1) and version two (MLD v2) on the
OLT. See
for information about MLD.
Host Timeout
Specify the time (from 1 to 16,711,450) in seconds that elapses before the OLT removes an
IGMP group membership entry if it does not receive report messages from the port.
