Loosen the captive flowcell release screw, then remove the flowcell.

Hold the flowcell by the red threaded fitting when lifting the flowcell out of
the optics assembly.

CAUTION

To avoid getting fingerprints on the glass windows of the flowcell, always
hold the flowcell by the metal slides.
