Before the plug-in establishes a connection to the servo drive, a check is completed to determine
whether the firmware is compatible with the current version of the plug-in.
If the firmware is not compatible, no connection to the servo drive is established.

The plug-in is connected with the device with the specified IP address.
If the device is a CODESYS controller, a connection is also automatically established with
CODESYS.
The plug-in and device data are aligned.
The plug-in then automatically synchronises the data.
The connection status is updated.
The current connection process is cancelled by pressing the button again.
Identify device
A signal can be sent to the required device to be able to identify devices in a control cabinet, for
example. An identification mechanism on the device, such as a flashing LED on the device, is activ-
ated.
The identification is completed via the device communication dialogue. One of the two following
options can be selected for the identification:

Move the scroll bar in the "Identify" column of the selected device to the right position.

The identification mechanism is activated on the device.

Click on the required device with the right mouse button and select "_Identify Device".

The identification mechanism is activated on the device.
The identification mechanism is active until the scroll bar is moved back to the left position.
Specifying the device name
The device name can be defined via the device communication dialogue.

The device communication dialogue is open.

Devices were found in the network.
1. Click on the required device with the right mouse button.
2. Select "Change _Device Name".
