Default values
The displayed closed-loop settings originate from the device
description file for the plug-in.

The addition of "Changed manually" is attached to the relevant origin as soon as at least one closed-
loop parameter has been changed manually.
Executing a calculation
The calculation of suitable closed-loop settings is started with the "Calculate" button based on the
current drive configuration.
The calculation can only be completed if the following prerequisites are met:
–
A complete drive configuration has been created.
–
The plug-in is
not
connected to a device.
Completing a calculation after changing the proportion, moment of inertia or properties of the motor
cable
Recalculating the closed-loop settings is recommended if the proportion, moment of inertia or proper-
ties of the motor cable have been changed.
Executing a calculation with an open shaft
The calculation of suitable closed-loop settings without load is started with the "Calculate with open
shaft" button based on the current drive configuration.
The calculated closed-loop settings are only useful for operation of a motor that is not connected to
the load (axis). A test run with an open shaft is often sensible during initial commissioning.
The calculation can only be completed if the following prerequisites are met:

A complete drive configuration has been created.

The plug-in is
not
connected to a device.
Start auto tuning...
Via the button "Start auto tuning...", the assistant for configuration and execution of the auto-tuning
is displayed. The button is only active if the following prerequisites are met:
–
The plug-in is connected to the device.
–
The plug-in has the master control.
–
Controller enable is activated.

Resetting to default values
The closed-loop parameters can be reset to the values in the device description file with the "Reset to
default values" button.
The button is only active if the following prerequisites are met:
