Physiological Calculations (Hemo/Oxy/Vent
Calculations)
You can calculate and store hemodynamic, oxygenation and ventilation parameters
for display on the Calculations screen and print them on a laser printer.
To obtain physiological calculations
1. Press the
Menu
fixed key to open the Main menu.
2. Click on
Calculations
.
3. Click on
Hemo
or
Hemo/Oxy/Vent
to display the associated calculations
menu.
4. Click on
Capture Values
to save the date and time of the capture and display
the current values of input parameters. You can use captured values
immediately or hold them for later calculations.
5. Click on
Results
. The Calculations screen appears (see the following page).
NOTE:
B
efore initiating a physiological calculation, you must measure pulmonary
wedge pressure (see page 14-18) and cardiac output (see page 15-7).
NOTE: The Calculations screen does not display results for a derived parameter
unless all relevant information has been entered.
