The Menu Setup submenu
Menu Setup
Determines amount of time menus and
screens remain displayed
NOTE
: This setting determines menu
display time in
Remote View
also.
1) Click on
Menu Setup

Menu Time Limit
.
3) Click on one of the following:
•
ON
– Active menus and screens
are displayed for a limited time
only (approximately 5 minutes).
•
OFF
– Menus and screens
remain displayed until you
cancel them or select another
display.
The Save/Restore and Rename Setups submenus
These menus allow the unit manager to save and restore user-defined and default setups. Open
the Unit Manager menu (page 2-14), click on
Save/Restore
or
Rename Setups
, then follow the
procedures outlined on page 2-10 to execute the indicated functions.

submenu
This menu configures the monitor for transcutaneous blood gas monitoring. Open the Unit
Manager menu (page 2-14), click on

, select and execute functions as described in this

Site Timer
Control
Restricts or permits access to the site
timer (see page 18-11).

Nurse
– Clinical personnel can
set the site timer in the

menu.

Manager
– Access to the site
timer is restricted by the
password-protected Unit
Manager menu.
Site Timer
Limits the use of the tpO
2
/CO
2
sensor to a
specified period of time. When the time
has expired, an alarm sounds and all
network devices are advised with a
message.

Control
Enables/disables the control of the site

Refer to your hospital’s policy for this
feature.
NOTE

The sensor heater is disabled in standby
mode to conserve power and prolong the
life of the sensor.

– Disables the sensor
heater when site timer expires.

– Continues tpO

monitoring when the site timer
expires.
