4. Remove spring (2), float axle (3), and float (1).
5. Remove power jet and ja.'ke (9 and 10), and remove
main metering jets (11).
6. Passage plugs can be removed to permit cleaning fuel
passages in main body.
GOVERNOR UNIT REMOVAL AND DISASSEMBLY
Removal
Key num bers in text refer to Figure 4.
1. Remove cover screws, then remove governor housing
cover and gasket.
2. Unhook and remove governor spring (5).
3. Remove lock (2), then remove screw and lock washer
(3) attaching lever (6) to throttle shaft. Remove lever
and link (6 and 8) from housing (9).
4. Remove four housing to throttle body screws (7) and
lock washers. Separate governor housing from throttle
body and remove gasket.
Disassembly

Remove diaphragm cover screws and lock washers (22),
then remove cover (21), outer diaphragm (20), diaphragm
and rod assembly (19), and governor diaphragm spring
(18) from housing (17.)
NOTE: Governor unit components can be re
moved from carburetor while installed on en
gine by first disconnecting breather line and
Hydraulic pressure line (when used), then ac
complishing the pertinent steps in foregoing
procedures.
THROTTLE BODY DISASSEMBLY
Key numbers in text refer to Figure 6, unless otherwise
indicated.
1. Remove throttle driver assembly (12, fig. 5), which is
held to throttle body by two screws (13 and 14, fis.
5).
2. Remove screw and lock washer (5) from end of
throttle shaft, then remove throttle driver (6).
3. M a rk each throttle plate (4) and each barrel, so plates
can be assembled in original positions when assem
bling carburetor. Remove the four screws (9) which
secure throttle plate to throttle shaft (7). Remove
plates from shaft, then move shaft (7) endwise, re
move retaining washer (1) and pull shaft (7) out of
throttle body (8).
4. Remove idle mixture screws and springs (11 and 10)
from throttle body.
