CONVENTIO NAL CAB MODELS
N O T E : Refer to figure 2.
1. Disconnect pull-back spring. Disconnect
accelerator relay rod ass embly at carburetor or
injection pump. Loosen jam nut on relay rod.
2. Block pedal down firmly against floor mat.
3. Hold carburetor lever in full throttle po
sition and turn relay rod until end of rod fits
freely into carburetor lever. Tighten jam nut
on relay lever.
4. Connect
accelerator relay rod to car
buretor lever and relea.se accelerator pedal.
Connect pull-back spring.
N O T E : Refer to Figvre 3.
1. Disconnect linkage pull-back spring. Dis
connect rod assembly at cnrburetor throttle lever.
2. Block
accelerato -
pedal down firmly
against floor mat. Using vise-grip pliers, tem
porarily lock bell crank lever to mounting bracket.
3. Tilt cab forward to permit access to ad
justment point in linkage.
4. Place carburetor throttle lever in wide
open position (full throttle) and adjust length of
rod assembly at adjusting; trunnion to free-entry
of rod assembly into thro ;tle lever. Secure rod to
throttle lever with washer and cotter pin.
5. Remove vise-grip pliers used to lock bell
crank lever to mounting bracket. Install throttle
