FUEL
Fuel filter elements on Diesel engines should
be replaced at regular intervals established by
the operator. Element replacement intervals are
dependent on the cleanliness of the fuel and on
storage facilities.
IM P O R T A N T :
Neglect of fuel filters can
lead to eventual damage to certain fuel system
components.
manifold or blower must be kept tight to prevent
unfiltered air from entering the engine and caus
ing damage.
If air cleaner becomes clogged, restricted air
flow will cause power loss and possible engine
damage.
If vehicle is operated in dust storm area,
air cleaner should be cleaned immediately after
such storms occur.
Refer to “ L U B R IC A T IO N ” (SEC. 0) in this
manual for service of air cleaners.
