11. Disassemble inlet and exhaust valve insert.
a. Insert an object (such as a bolt) in the supply
port to hold the inlet valve on its scat.
b. Depress the exhaust valve guide and spring and
remove the exhaust valve. Remove spring and
guide from stem.
c. Remove stem with inlet valve from inlet valve
seat and remove valve from stem.
ASSEMBLY
1. Assem ble inlet and exhaust valve insert:
a. Install inlet valve on stem and place inlet valve
and stem in valve scat.
b. Insert an object (such as a bolt) in the supply
port to hold inlet valve on its seat.
c. Place spring and exhaust valve guide over stem
and com press spring.
d. Install exhaust valve on stem.
2. Install O -ring on insert assembly.
3. Install inlet and exhaust valve assembly (T C -2 insert)
in valve body.
4. Install piston return spring in body.
5. Install O -ring on piston and install piston in body.
6. Install adjusting ring in cover and screw it down until
it is flush with top of cover.
7. Install cam follower and cam in cover.
8. Install graudating spring in body.
9. Place gasket in position on body and assemble cover
to body. Fasten with two screws.
10. Install adjusting ring lock washer, head seal O -ring
and head.
11. Install O -ring on handle, place handle in position
and secure with spirol pin.

DISASSEMBLY— CONVENTIONAL MODELS
1. Remove cover screw, name plate and cover.
2. Loosen lock nut and remove lever assembly.
3. Scribe m arks on valve body and cam housing to per
mit proper reassembly.
4. Unscrew and remove collar.
5. Rem ove cam housing assembly, camshaft and cam.
Separate the individual parts.
6. Remove adjusting bearing from cam housing.
7. Remove graduating spring from body.
8. Remove piston and block vee assembly from body.
Rem ove block vee from piston.
