Usage
Information Only the routes within an area are summarized, and that summary is advertised to
other areas by the ABR. External routes are not summarized.

area area-id stub [no-summary]
To delete a stub area, use the
no area area-id stub
command.
Parameters
area-id Specify the OSPF area in dotted decimal format (A.B.C.D.) or
enter a number from zero (0) to 65535.
no-summary (OPTIONAL) Enter the keywords
no-summary
to prevent the
ABR from sending summary Link State Advertisements (LSAs)
into the stub area.
