U0073: Engine ECU CAN communication bus for Emission control system - bus off
INFORMATION
1. Technical description
<Description of malfunction>
•
Abnormal engine CAN communication (bus off) is detected.
2. DTC set condition
(1) DTC detection condition
•
Starter switch ON.
•
Engine ECU power supply voltage is in the range of 11 V to 16 V.
(2) Judgement criteria
•
Buss off condition continues for 96 ms or longer.
3. Reset condition
•
After normal operation is restored and the key is turned LOCK.
4. Indication, warning or system control regulation when the DTC is set.
•
MIL: ON
•
Diag lamp: OFF
•
Engine output is restricted.
5. Symptoms on the vehicle when the DTC is set

•
Engine output is insufficient.
